We recommend booking at least 9-12 months in advance to get the date you are looking to have your event guaranteed. We do take reservations up to a month in advance of an event in most circumstances. All payments are due 30 days before the event though, so it’s best to book as soon as possible. Special circumstances may be able to be accommodated on shorter notice if needed, contact the event manager at 507-354-4673 for more information. 

Yes, we require 50% down at time of reservation, and the remaining balance is due 30 days prior to event. We are also happy to break up the remaining balance into multiple payments after the 50% deposit is paid. 

Deposit is non-refundable after 14 days. Any other payment made is non-refundable.

We work with several Caterers around the New Ulm area. Their contact information can be found under the Vendors tab at the top of the page. 

Due to Minnesota laws, we are unable to allow any outside alcohol or bartenders not employed by Royal Oak Event Center. For every event, we plan to have one bartender working for every 100 guests and the Event Manager will assist with the bar as needed. 

** A $500 fine will be applied for anyone who brings outside Alcohol on or in premises**

Yes of course! We are happy to customize a beverage package for you that is based on non-alcoholic beverages only.

To approve your reservation, we require your event date, estimated guest count, and approximate start and end times. About 60 days before your event, we will reach out to confirm the final details. Please note that the final guest count, linen requests, specialty alcohol orders, and any add-ons must be finalized and paid in full no later than 30 days before the event.

Maximum occupancy is 1,000 Guests standing room only, up to 500 seated Guests for dining, 50 seated guests for ceremony

Yes, we have a free parking lot at the Event center and overflow parking in the grass to the north of our building.

We do not offer professional photography as part of our event services. You are welcome to use any photographer you would like to for the event as long as they are licensed and insured.  Please see the Vendors tab for photography references.
